Eden Tally uses automated estimation and generation to help you plan. This page sets out exactly what those outputs are — and are not — so you can use them responsibly.
1. Indicative estimates only
Every cost range, materials quantity, contingency percentage and trade sequence Eden Tally produces is an indicative approximation generated from the values you enter. Real costs vary widely by region, timing, specification, supplier and site conditions. Treat outputs as a starting point for planning, never as a final figure.
2. Not certified quantity-surveying or cost advice
Eden Tally is not a chartered quantity surveyor or cost consultancy. Outputs are not formal estimates, bills of quantities, tender documents or valuations for insurance, mortgage or lending purposes. Confirm all figures with real quotations and a suitably qualified professional before committing spend.
3. Not financial advice
Budget numbers are for personal planning only and do not constitute financial, mortgage, lending or investment advice. Affordability and borrowing decisions are yours; seek regulated advice where appropriate.
4. Not building-regulations, planning or safety guidance
Outputs do not determine building-regulations compliance, planning permission, or structural, gas or electrical safety. Regulated work must be designed and carried out by qualified professionals and approved by the relevant authorities.
5. Accuracy and your responsibility
- Outputs depend on the accuracy of your inputs — wrong area, spec or scope will produce misleading figures.
- Generated boards and reels visualise your figures; they do not verify them.
- You are responsible for checking outputs against real quotes before making decisions or entering contracts.
